How to use this database
You can search this database several ways. Search by year Click on a year such as 1845 to see all the events that happened that year. Within the year, click on a month Feb to see just the events in that month in that year. Search by letter Click on a letter such as B to see all events that start with that letter of the alphabet. Search by key words The Search page lets you enter key words. Click the Search button to see all events that contain that word. This is most useful for finding all events with a particular unique word such as someone's last name like 'Wadsworth'. It is less useful for finding events that contain common words such as 'Main St.' Results are returned page-by-page. To see the next pageful of events, click on the Next link at the bottom of the page. |
